Newly furnished in '04 ...

The floorplan at right is for our 101 unit but 116 is very similar without the angled wall at bottom. Our 116 unit at the Hale Ono Loa Resort is a comfortable quite unit in quaint West Maui between Kaanaplai and Kapalua ... we enjoy fresh and new appointments and we're sure you will too! The living area also has a nice new queen sofa/bed and cable TV.

About the resort...

The Hale Ono Loa is a low rise (4 story), ocean front condominium resort located at the northern egde of Kaanapali within sight of the Embassy Suites and Aston Kaanapali Shores (check THEIR rates!) The small complex is within walking distance of the beautiful Honokowai Beach Park, ABC Convenience Store, Daily Farmer's Market, the large and well stocked Star Market, Budget and Alamo car rentals, and just south of Kahana, Kapalua Bay and Honolua Bay. You will experience the calming sound of the ocean. Imagine the warmth of the Pacific air and sound of waves lapping the reef. 101 Unit Is the middle One

The beautiful Pacific Ocean with views of Molokai and Lanai is just a short '101' steps away! There is a sandy swimming beach just a few hundred feet away along the shore. There is excellent snorkeling at the resort. You must be careful in getting in the ocean when the surf is up and the coral reef is exposed! There is a nice calm beach at the Honokowai Beach Park about 10 minute walk away as well. BUT No need to pay $60 to get on a boat to see tropical fish ... just dive in a few steps from your vacation home! Many turtles live in the coves and are a real treat to observe. Kapalua Airport with non stop service to/from Honolulu by quite prop jets is a few minutes away. Kahului Airport is about a 50 minute drive, depending on traffic.

The Hale Ono Loa has a nice swimming pool (renovation in Nov 2004), with nearby outdoor barbecue grill, and picnic tables that have unobstructed views of the Pacific with Lanai and Molokai dazzling close by. Kaanapali Bay Beach We know you'll want to save lots of $$ by cooking at home, but for those special days, restaraunts are less than a mile away; the closest ones about 1/3 a mile and convenience stores as well. One mile away are Roy's in Kahana, McDonald's, and Outback Steak house. In Kapalua, Lahaina and Kaanapali are more excellent world class restaurants. When we are there we rent a car only when we need it on a daily basis a mile away at the Alamo or Budget offices just across the highway from the Star market. Enterprise at the Sheraton will deliver a car to you!

The views of Lanai and Molokai are a few steps off the deck ...

You can use the view deck with a barbecue and patio furniture for whale watching in the winter and spring. The living room has a color remote controlled TV with cable.

The fully equipped kitchen has a microwave, coffee maker, conventional oven and stove, and refrigerator as well as a full supply of glasses, dishes, and cooking utensils.

Lanai of Unit 116 The bedroom are has expansive closet and nice new dresser.

The private lanai is furnished with a table and chairs. We try to keep a few beach items such as boogey boards, mats, and ice cooler for your use. Previous guests leave these items behind and so they vary in condition; check the bedroom closet before your buy these things.
