The
beautiful Kaanapali Bay coral sand beach is just a short walk along an
oceanfront
path. You can call the front desk and they will take you to the beach cabana by golf cart! The special feature of the Eldorado is the Beach cabana that is right on the sand! The Cabana has a full kitchen, towel and backrest service, and can be booked, through us, for parties and wedding receptions at night. There is excellent snorkeling at the resort (Black Rock). No need to pay $60 to get on a boat to see tropical fish ... just dive in a few minutes from your vacation home! The swim from the old wharf around Black Rock to the Sheraton rivals any commercial snorkel trip!
Many
turtles live in the coves and are a real treat to observe. If you are daring, (and this is for experienced divers only) the night dives and snorkeling around the old wharf will reveal abundant lobster, crabs, and shrimp! From the
Beach Cabana
you can view whales in
season! (Nov - April).
Golf is
available
at the adjacent links and tennis at next door the Royal Lahaina and Sharaton Resorts. The Kapalua West Maui Airport is less than five
minutes away. Kahului Airport is about a 50 minute drive, depending on
traffic.
The Maui Eldorado Resort has three HEATED swimming pools, with nearby
outdoor
barbecue grills, and picnic tables. Whaler's Village is about a 15 minute walk to the south. At Kaanapali Bay and at Kapalua there are several 
more
excellent restaurants. With the new Maui bus system you may not need to rent a car! The trolley stops at the front of the Eldorado taking you to Whaler's Village and connections to Lahaina and the rest of the island.Bus system link. When we are there we rent a car only when we need it on a daily basis at the Enterprise desk at the Sheraton.
No need for Ceiling fans this unit has super quite central air.
The fully
equipped kitchen has a full power over-range microwave/hood, coffee maker, new glass top range and oven,
refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, and full supply of
glasses,
dishes, knives, and cooking utensils. 
The
bedroom (area has a Cal KING size pillow top bed, a TV
with VHS & DVD and cable.
The private lanai is furnished with a table and chairs and a lounge.
The unit has a clothes washer and dryer inside. An electric barbeque/smoker is conveniently available on the lanai.
